It's been one of those days I tell ya.
I had callbacks for Androcles & The Lion. That's the Spring
Children's Touring Show this year. I read again for The Lion,
Androcles, Pantolino and Capitan. ALL very good readings. Honestly, I'd
like to be one of the Capitans. Tracy is planning on double casting.
Posting goes up at 11:15am (so she says) Tuesday.
I'm finding that I am having a
hard time for New Year's this year. Go figure. Last year rocked. The
year before shitty. Before, rocked. Before, really shitty. Before,
GREAT.
Notice the theme? I was all set on trying to find a BIG New Years bash.
Possibly a huge Ball to attend. I'd been talking it out with the
current "friend". BUT nothing could be found. Then, I get an invite
from Shannon and Jared. This is a big ass party in Half Moon Bay. Well,
shit, hella friends from the old days. Haven't been able to party with
many of them in years. YES, I wanna go. BUT, the "friend" has other
plans now. =(
I can't think of anyone I might be able to TRY to coerce into going. I
mean it IS about 2 1/2-3 hours driving from Sacramento. I'd even be
willing to pay for a room at a motel to crash the night.
Honestly, I'd really have liked spending it with the girl. Having
someone to kiss at midnight on New Years is a wonderful thing. I've
only had that a few times in my life. 2 with a girl I was living with.
1 with Erica when we were working at the vineyard for Y2K. I absolutely
LOVED it then. I'd like it again, please!
Guess it's my own fault for assuming things. ::sigh::
Sarah is working New Years Eve until 6 and then has to work New Years
Day at 11am. So, she isn't going to be able to do that trip. But, she
has stated that if I can't find my way to Half Moon Bay, and her mom
(who'll be visiting) doesn't want to spend it with her, that we'd
figure something out.
I'd have just a few NYE wishes:
1)To KISS a beautiful woman at midnight. (Knowing before that I was leaving with her)
2)To PARTY with all my friends like it's.......the old days! (Thought I was gonna say 1999, huh?)
3)To BREAK the theme of alternating years of good and bad NYE's.
Anyone wanna give me there car for a weekend? =) OR perhaps go on a
trip? My treat! You'll be able to meet HELLA cool people. See how we
old school RHPS'ers party down. Have a grand ole' time in my old
stomping grounds for a weekend all supplied by my own
goodness! (In reality, I really would like to have a
certain someone's plans end up sounding wonky and she decides to go
with me. BUT, I am not that lucky.)
Happy Birthday
