I Feel Released
So....I'm definitely nervous for the show tonight.
For those of you clueless...tonight Barely Legal (http://barelylegal.rhps.org) is doing SWITCH NIGHT! Many of you out there are used to having people play roles not designed for their gender, on a regular basis. Well BL only does that once in a while. We call it Switch Night.
This is where all the females roles are played by men and all the male roles played by women! I'M PLAYING JANET!!!!!!
Janet has to be THE hardest female role to play! Why? She has HELLA movements throughout the songs she sings. She definitely the hardest floorshow to learn, for sure. I've been practicing and practicing. I'm even going over it now (YES I am going back and forth from my comp to standing up and doing the routines in my room.)
I know I won't be perfect. The last time I played Janet was over 10 years ago, with my first cast of Erotic Nightmares! So, why did I beg to play it for this time? I wanted to be able to say I've played EVERY character at least 3 times! Do I feel like an ass right now? YES! I want to be good. I don't think I'll be great, that's for certain. BUT, I think I'll be better than many regular Janets I've seen in the past. I won't be as nearly good as Violet from BL. Nor Brigid or even Liz (best Janet I've ever gotten to work with) from Sins. BUT, I think I'll do a pretty good job.
I'm cheating though. I decided to detract from some of my performance near the beginning. I'm gonna give Ambrosia (a Janet who is playing Brad) a ring pop to put on my finger. I'm also using 5 oz. chocolate bar for driving scene. I believe it is like a 1 oz. bar that is usually used. I'm borrowing costuming that will most likely not be able to zip up on me. I'm also possibly not going to have white shoes, unless we find some that fit me at our theater. Sarah decided to let me use her white bra, because it is closer to the look than the one I have. I'm gonna have NICE TITS! hahahaha Who wants to play with them?
Ok...time to go practice more (and go get myself some new pantyhose from the store.)
