I Say I'm Dead, And I Move

RHS in Fairfield was good. Definitely different from ARC's production. This was put on in a black box theater. It was like dinnertainment theater, without the dinner. They were RIGHT THERE IN YOUR FACE!
I guess they put their own costumes together, mostly. But they all were fabulous. Draven did a really good job. I would have liked to have heard his voice be a bit higher in singing though. JUST MY HONEST OPINION! Dressed in his gear from the shadow cast, it didn't catch my fancy. I see that kind of costume all the time. I wish he had been in something a bit more flashy.
The Frank was a bit bigger than you would usually see in a stage production, but he pulled it off wonderfully. His voice was beautiful.
Speaking of beautiful, Aubine, the Magenta. She looked wicked and sinister, it was great. Her costume was very whorish. I remembered hearing her sing, when they came to Barely Legal. I was skeptical because she is very operatic. But, she proved why they chose her. I could tell when she noticed me, because she scrunched her nose up, as her eyes lit up a bit.
The Trixie was done by the Phantoms. 2 of them were in drag and it was great. 1 had a stupendously extra fabulous voice. He also was their Rocky. In drag he looked like Barbara Streisand, I shit you not!!!!
All in all: Regular Costuming for almost all of them was very close to the movie. All except Magenta. Floorshow outfits were all the same, but very hot. Speace suits very silver and white and also very hot!
Singing was wonderfully done. So was the choreography, especially for such a small area to work with. The acting on all accounts was wonderful. I even laughed at little things they did onstage. The set design was very cool. I loved the 9 Foot Penis Tank.
It was difficult to NOT yell audience lines. During the end, I couldn't help saying some, lightly.

Notice what time it is? Why is that unusual tonight of all nights? Because I need to start getting ready at 5am. =0
I'll be delirious before we even get halfway through the Improv-A-Thon.

Thanx for being my date to the show, Liane. =)

Moral of the Story: Wicked You Wonder, Sinister They Come. Time To Begin The Ultimate Delirium!
