Summary: Burt has and idea, Blaine has a question, Kurt has an answer, Burt crunches some numbers, and Blaine is afraid
“Your father is going to kill me” Blaine says as he and Kurt make there way up the walk of Kurt’s house. “Don’t be so worried Blaine, this was his idea in the first place” Kurt replies as they stop on the front stoop. “Speaking of which,” Kurt says as he turns to Blaine and wraps his arms around his fiancées neck, “You didn’t ask me to marry you just to prove a point to my dad did you?” Kurt asks him, raising his eyebrow at Blaine and Blaine can see a hint of sadness in his lovers eyes. “No! No! God Koala no I’m not doing this for any other reason than because I love you and want to spend forever with you. I will admit that your dad pushed me to propose sooner than I was planning, but I was planning it. Your it for me Koala, you always have been it for me.” Blaine said earnestly to Kurt, looking in to his beautiful eyes and pleading silently for Kurt to believe him. Kurt smiled and leaned in to give Blaine a kiss, “Okay Bear I believe you” Kurt said. Blaine breathed a sigh of relief, he never meant his proposal to his love to seem insincere. “Ready to give my family the shock of a lifetime?” Kurt asked with a giggle as he turned to open his front door. Blaine took another deep breath “You promise to protect me from your dad right? Because I would really love to live long enough to be at our wedding” Blaine said in a low tone to Kurt as they stepped inside the door.
