I've just now caught up to this series - I binge-read everything you've done so far in one sitting. And I have to say that this series is marvelous. You've really done something imaginative here. You've taken bits and pieces of myth and legend, little samples from various pop culture sources (I've caught elements from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Sailor Moon - the concept of an ordinary student who's really a reincarnated messiah - Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter and Fushigi Yuugi. You've mixed it all together with hot guys and a lot of hot sex and come up with something that's a pleasure to read

Aha got my wish! I'd hoped to see more of Hiyuu and Yuuki's past and how circumstances led to Hiyuu becoming a vampire. His human self was so different. Guess he never did go on to marry the chief's daughter, haha.

It's impressive that Yuuki's been able to keep the necklace throughout so many different lifetimes. I'm getting a bit worried about Hiyuu though with all these regressions into past memories. And I imagine the medical witch will be cursed.
