BELOW ME...
I got a Wii, and thus am spending a bit more time in fanboydomland than usual. SSB Brawl is a very fun game. I also picked up Zack and Wiki, an adorable pirate adventure game. NEAT
My family and I went to Las Vegas for a family vacation for the past few days. I enjoyed eating with them and seeing Spamalot, a musical adaption of Monty Python and the Holy Grail that was hilarious. I’m very glad someone decided to make a musical out of that movie; I thought it worked extremely well. Other than eating and watching that, we spent the rest of our time shopping. I usually got dropped off at Barnes & Noble during these times and enjoyed this very much. I read lots of LOTR, Kenshin manga, and a newspaper comic I’ve started to like a lot: Pearls Before Swine.
But yeah, don’t go to Las Vegas if you don’t like drinking, smoking, gambling, shopping, or scantily clad women. The defining Vegas experience I had was when I was walking towards the strip at one point. I was covering my eyes because the sun was setting in front of me, but I couldn’t look at the ground because little cards with pictures of nude women were scattered on the sidewalk. So it was hard to look anywhere, really, and it was sort of funny that way. We also saw a water show to the tune of "I'm proud to be an American," which was pretty ironic. BUT BARNES & NOBLE WAS NICE, AND SPAMALOT, AND BEING WITH FAMILY.
Back to school tomorrow: only seven weeks left! Then I’ll turn around and flip off all the people who I don't like and who I'll never have to see again. GLORIOUS!
