My LJ is 10 years old today. In dog years I think that makes it older than I am.
*holds up cake so it can blow out comedy re-lighting candles*
When I started this journal I was an obsessive Buffy/Angel fan. And when I say Buffy/Angel, I don't mean Bangel but the shows in general (but you knew that). In fact it was Buffy that turned me from mildly normal into being a rabid slash fan. I've never recovered.
I grew out of my Spike, Angel, Wesley, Giles and Xander obsession but not out of slash or from having obsessions in general.
I'm still obsessive about my favourite F1 drivers, Kimi Raikkonen, Fernando Alonso & Nico Rosberg and the tennis gods that are Rafa Nadal & David Ferrer
My TV addictions have spanned the 10 years from Buffy to my current obsession of Suits. Favourites along the way have gone from the medical soaps of House & Greys Anatomy through spectacularly brilliant dramas like The West Wing, OZ, Scandal, Treme, The Wire, Mad Men, Battlestar Gallactica, Broadwalk Empire, Friday Night Lights to dodgy rubbish that hooks you like True Blood, Dexter, Arrow and the embarrassing secret indulgences like Gossip Girl, The OC, Hart of Dixie.
Obviously many many many many many more to infinity.
LJ has always been a great place to go on about obsessions because not many people in real life want to talk for hours and hours about Cylons and Mals leather trousers and cavemen v astronauts (more fool them).
I may not be as prolific a poster as I used to be but I still love this place and all the Not!friends it's given me (you lot know who you are).
