the gathering gay storm
the NOM (national organziation for marriage) created an ad talking about the "storm that's coming" and how people's rights are being taken away and how scared they are.
the only reason i watched the ad was because a supposedly hilarious parody had been made and i wanted to be able to compare.
then i found out the colber report did a parody too!
so you don't have to watch the original ad on it's own, watch the colber parody first, which includes just about the entirety of the original ad (except for the very end where they say who paid for the ad - the NOM)
then, watch the youtube parody.
they are both hilarious. i mean, even the original ad is funny 'cause it's so dense.
i totally support gay marriage. i really don't see how it affects straight marriage. it's not like the gays are gonna force straights to marry gay. or go to their weddings. the only problem i can see is more competition for wedding reception space. or wedding planners. or florists. or wedding cake makers. or divorce lawyers. hee!
