done the impossible

i had been looking forward to dti since it was first announced even though i had some trepidation at the same time.  i thought, a fan documentary made completely by fans, could be a disaster if the creators have absolutely no experience.  I did know that the guys working on the documentary, had worked on previous dvd projects and so i was less worried.

even though it took much, much longer than they had expected, i had absolutely no doubt that i would get the documentary at some point.  for me, it was another thing to look forward to in the firefly 'verse.

i have watched the documentary and thought it was pretty good. i am, of course, completely biased.  i kept seeing familiar faces, browncoats i had met over the course of these past 3 years - although i have to admit i didn't pay attention that much to the actual contents of the documentary - mostly i just squeed and pointed and said "i know her/him!"

i have watched some of the complete interviews.  i started out by watching flyhead and
rhobyne.  i cracked up when rhobyne said that jayne is the guy you call for a booty call! lol!  you just have to watch her expression!

i watched rosie,
saintpip and a few other fans, then i watched joss, fanty & mingo, chris buchanan, nathan & alan, morena & jewel...in that order.

the interactive thing is really cool. so much stuff!  it's going to take me forever to get through it all! (for those of you who are having trouble with the interactive thing, they have released a patch - it solved the issue for me)

can't wait to watch dti with fellow browncoats.  maybe at the browncoat ball?

here's a review of done the impossible at dvdtalk
