boat cruise!
our company is having their annual boat cruise on friday. it's employees only and we had to pay $25, otherwise i would have invited y'all to come along! all food and drinks are included and supposedly they are going to have a dj too - although i have found that management always thinks hiring a guy to just play his cds is a great dj. hell, i can do that! maybe i should?
anyway, when i hear "dj", i think of a person that can stand there and mix music together...play one continuous stream of thumping music while he holds the headphones to one ear, without missing a beat.
*sigh* i miss the house music dj summer program even more now since they moved it from downtown to "the metro" on the northside...
