Great Great news!!!
So yesturday I took some of the money my mom gave me and went to apply at SPC. I got my student number...talked to a counsler for a sec, and went to the financial aid office. I found out that FCCJ lied to me, I still had my Bright Futures when I went to apply there...those dumb fuckheads! I hate them, they ruined two years of my life. Well, anyways, the gentleman in the financial aid office gave me the number for the Florida Student Financial Aid Office, so I could call to see if the scholarship is still good. So I go home, thinking I'm going to have to beg them today to give the money back. Well, I call and they tell me my scholarship is still good. ::happy dance:: I hung up the phone, went online to renue it and hopped around the house for about an hour before I called my mom and then my dad. So fucking excited!!! The deal is...I got take my placement exam...go to orientation... another counsler...pick my classes...register...and pay 25% of tuition and Bright Futures picks up the remaining balance on the due date. But on top of the scholarship, I also am getting a Pell Grant for $400 this term. Not alot for the grant it is, but never the less...I think for now, that should cover books and my 25%...Which means....FREE COLLEGE!!!! At last, I can finally go to school. I am so so so so so so so so so so HAPPY!!!!
::sigh:: This is so relaxing. Although, I still don't have a job. We still own John 35 bux for rent, we owe water and DSL. BUT, we do get free cable for a month thru Bright House, they are hooking it up tomarrow morning. On Demand, HBO, and Showtime. ::sigh::
Adam and I went and looked at furnature at Rooms to GO last night. We found a couch we really like. So now I feel kinda pressured. I have school...#1 in my mind....and we get Adam's car this weekend...which means we need money to fix it and get insurance and tag...and we have to get a new tag and title for the nissan now, it expires next month...so that's a good $450 for just next month. I really really need a new job right now. Or CR needs to give me some really good hours this week and next. I can't be late with all this stuff anymore. I think next job I get I will file exempt on my W4 form, so they won't take taxes out...did you know if you are a full time student, you can do that.
And Adam wants to buy new furnature soon. that couch was really nice and we could finance it. But that's juts another bill to add to the many others. I will definatly need a job that's an easy 300 a week. Think it could happen...who knows. I'm kinds happy...but I have to go worry about bills right now, so I'm going to try and keep on mind that I will be inh school in two weeks.
