Birthday Present minus the suprise
So the start of this week was October break for us here at Purdue so naturally I went home for the four day weekend.
Janice also came home with me again cause it would be quite expensive for her to fly all the way home just for four days.
and her 18th birthday was on Sunday!
We threw her a small party and had lots of fun.

She is from Hawaii so she doesn't have all the lovely cold weather knits that us mainlanders do so I made her a headband for her birthday. I couldn't use wool because she it allergic so I double stranded some Knitpicks cotton to make it. The picture links to my rav page for it.

ps. we went shopping on monday and did a lot of retail therapy. hollister was having a half off clearance prices sale so I got a pair of shorts and a tee shirt for less than $20... the shorts originally cost $50! I also started stocking up on swim wear while its on the clearance racks so when I go home with Janice in May I will have enough swim wear to last the two weeks in Hawaii!
