Non-Spoilery Review of Dracula Untold
Ignore the critics. They obviously do not get the genre. Dracula Untold is a visually stunning, perfectly balanced mix of historical drama, action film, and romance. I loved that they wove historical events from the real life of Vlad Tepes (obviously fictionalized/mythologized) with the legendary elements we have all come to know and love. We get a great origin story with a vital, passionate, strong warrior prince, and a lot of very cogent reasons for him to become what he does. Loved it. Hope they do more.
