Good Doll news for a change!! Ok not really.
EDITS: No name tattoo for Alex's. they seem to be sold out....I'll have to figure something else out now....ugh. That's three dolls with no name D:
No one has shipped yet, unfortunately, but this morning there was an email in my inbox from Dollmore which got me all excited until I noticed it was promoting their new fashion doll =_=
Nice.
Anyway, on to the Update of Alex II, my most obnoxious of my three Kara Klums (so far, lets hope IV isn't this bad D: ). As of last night I got him almost finished. Friday night I put in eyelashes, almost painless, there was some glueage, and I almost lost one about fifty times, but they got in and I can still see his eyes, which is good. Then I disassembled him to add the double ankh on his back. All was well until the last coating of black watercolor pencil...when all the MSC in the top area chipped right off!! D:
WARNING: DO NOT SPRAY MSC WHEN IT'S RAINING!!!!!!!
Stuff like this happens. I did salvage most of it, and when I got home last night he came back out to get it finished.
So, with the exception of his scars (and blushing when those are done) and the "Black" on his forearm, Alex II is finished!!!!! FINALLY!
If you consider the fact that I bought this head in October 2008, gave him probably 4 faceups in the year that I had him, put him up for sale twice, took him down twice cause I couldn't do it, practiced ear piercing, and gave up completely on him before finally getting him his own body in October 2009, painted his nails, sprayed him, cleaned him off completely then redoing his faceup again and his lips 3-4 times botched tattoos, a new manicure and sanding which is still think could use work....This is my longest ongoing doll project ever.

He's a Dollmore Thinking Kara Klum for those who no idea what I've been going on about for the last two weeks XD
Alex: You need to give me way more caffeine if you expect me to be up this early.
Alex: Screw you. I'll go get it myself.
So yeah, there he is. I think I could have done a better job. Too late now.
FYI he's supposed to look like he's sick and hasn't slept in a month....somehow he still manages to look down on me =_=
