Totally looking forward to Halloween!
I'm so terrible about updating this thing on a regular basis. It's so sad because I check LJ about twice a day to see what's happening with everyone else. I never can manage to work up the initiative to write an entry of my own. Life is going marvelously. I love college so much! Classes are pretty good. I love Arabic, International Relations, and Theatre. Unfortunately I am not a fan at all of Stats or Macro. They make me puke! I had my first Arabic test the other day and got a 100.5 out of 101! I was so proud!!! In International Relations we are performing a virtual world simulation where we are in 7 groups of 5 people each and we're representing different countries. My groups' country is J-Madistan! Tehehehe. It is so much fun! We have to buy technology and build all kinds of different buildings and have taxes and keep our public happy and build up a military and make sure no other countries try to attack us! I absolutely love it. It's very realistic. Each person in the group has a different role. I'm Secretary of State/UN Representative. It's great because it's really what I want to do with my life in the future. Theatre is a lot of fun also. I'm in that class with Jeff and Amanda Bowman and we have a great time. Jeff has shaved his head bald! It's hilarious!! We got to chose 7 lines from anything meant to be spoken out loud and perform them in front of the class on Tuesday. I did Hamlet's "to be or not to be speech" It's one of my favorite Shakespearean quotes. There were some really funny ones. Two kids did the Fresh Prince of Bell Air rap. One kid did the scary rap from Michael Jackson's Thriller. Another one did some from The Notebook. And my Amanda did Mel Gibson from The Patriot. It was great to watch everyone. On another note, I'm so glad that JMU decided not to let me live on campus this year! I absolutely love our apartment. We rearranged the furniture in the living room yesterday and it looks amazing! Debbie and I also painted our beer pong table. We're having our first party this weekend. I won't be there cause I shall be at home. But it should be fun. We're also having a party the next weekend October 15th for my BIRTHDAY! Everyone who reads my LJ is definitely invited to it. I'm pretty excited! What I really can't wait for is Halloween though. We're have a big get together here! It's going to be so so so so great because a lot of people from home are coming up! The only people who read my LJ are Hillary, Jenny, Cassie, and Meghan. I want to make sure you all know that you and your significant other are invited to a fun party Friday October 28th! The theme is Disney Characters. I know Hillary is coming as Alice in Wonderland and Eric is going to be the Mad Hatter. I'm going as Jasmine. My sister is going to be Belle. Emma is Snow White, Debbie is Esmeralda, Jen Olsen is either The Little Mermaid or Pocahontas. That's all I can remember for right now. Sorry if I forgot anyone! I can't wait to see everyone again and have us all reunited! I've thought of all kinds of other fun stuff that I should update this thing with but I'll leave that to another time, because this entry has surprisingly enough turned into a short novel! ;-)
