Hello again, honored brethren, in the name of Clapton, Santana, and the Holy Ghost. Today, in light of a friend of mine whose name is Abby, I want to tell you of the importance of rest and relaxation.
While it's true, the servin of our Lord is best done industriously, there are a great many people [unlike me, lazy man that I am] who dedictae a great too many hours of the day toward labor. While honest work is all well and good, it is important that every now and then, you take some time to enjoy this world, which was meant to be enjoyed. And thus, brethren, I want to share with you a song by Cream, those great prophets, called Sleepy Time Time.
[ahem]
I'm a sleepy time baby, a sleepy time boy.
Work only maybe, life is a joy.
We'll have a sleepy time time.
We'll have a sleepy time time.
We'll have a sleepy time time.
We'll have a sleepy time time.
Sleepy time time.
Sleepy time time all the time.
Asleep in the daytime, asleep at night.
Life is all playtime; working ain't right.
We'll have a sleepy time time.
We'll have a sleepy time time.
We'll have a sleepy time time.
We'll have a sleepy time time.
Sleepy time time.
Sleepy time time all the time.
I have my Sunday, that ain't no lie.*
But on Monday morning comes my favorite try.*
We'll have a sleepy time time.
We'll have a sleepy time time.
We'll have a sleepy time time.
We'll have a sleepy time time.
Sleepy time time.
Sleepy time time all the time.
As the old proverb says, 'all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.' Do not allow yourself to become dull, but take some time off, and enjoy yourself in this life. I have said before that a man must take his work seriously to be a true man, but a real man should also know when to relax. Extremities are not to be pursued; instead, choose a balance between hard work and relaxation. As they say, a stone must have two sides, therefore be both able to uphold your responsibilities and to take a vacation from them.
Brethren, that is all. Tomorrow, I go on the pilgrimage to Warped Tour. May I be enlightened and have much to share with you.
Amen.
