AKKK!!! an actual post!
Wow....It seems like it has been so long since I posted last.....oh well I guess it has been a long time..heheh. SO to get into it lets see what is new an relevant in the land of me. First, I have moved back to Lafayette. I am back to where I started from but with lots of things learned and experienced and I am happy to be back. I hope that I can have some really good memories here and now that I have the support of my family near me I know I can feel confident about my life.
Speaking of feeling confident. I now officially have jobs here in town. I have had interviews and gotten jobs out of all three of them. I feel so giddy about being able to choose the offer I want the most instead of just having to take what I can get. And the jobs are very different from each other although they are both customer oriented.
I am going to start training to be a shift supervisor at Starbucks on the 1st of June and I will be starting my training with Wild Birds Unlimited on Thurs of this week. I cannot be more excited about starting at a job.... well starting two jobs.
My parents bird watch and know I feel like I will be able to learn something about what they are passionate about and enjoy this with them. I think it will be a great way to learn about new things and improve on my customer service skills with people.
Then I am also back in the coffee business. It has been a while but I thought it would be a good time to start into it again. I go a job I would have never believed I would get if I was not actually at the interview. I am so excited about learning the trade again.
Next to talk about it the fact that I am living with my cousin again. I have done this already and so far it is working out well. I am hoping to be out of here in about a month. I think I might try to get an apartment near her in Youngsville cause it is a nice area and I would love to live so close to family. I don't think I have ever done that. I am just having a really good Monday.
