So yesterday I woke up and got ready for class, took my shower, then went down to the basement with my computer so I could watch something I had recorded before class. I did my normal stuff, like check livejournal, read my aol email, check facebook, and check my UD email. I got to the UD email and I found a nice little surprise in my inbox

Nicole, I am pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into the program on the basis of the recommendation of your high school teacher, who sang your praises. However, Julia, I still need a recommendation for you. I'm sure you don't want to stay behind while your sister is having lots of fun! ;-) Please ask a professor to submit a recommendation ASAP.
If you have any questions, please ask. I'll be available until Jan. 15th and then after Feb. 6th.

I was so excited that I got excepted to study abroad that I ran aroun the house screaming. No one was home so I had to call my dad at work.
I really hope my sister can go too. I mean they have to want her in the program because they couldn't just email both of us and be like "Whoop, Nicole you got in and Julia you didn't." And I mean if you read between the lines then it seems to me once she gets her recommendation in they will accept her.
I'm just so excited, I really wasn't sure if I was going to get to go.
