Jim Parsons in "Harvey"
I was in NYC this past weekend to see Jim Parsons in "Harvey". Jim has this perfect blend of wisdom and childlike innocence. He was amazing, as was the rest of the cast. Everyone has such great comedic timing. The play was a laugh riot from beginning to end. I did the stage door thing and was able to get his autograph on my playbill and my poster. He's cuter in person than on Big Bang Theory and he's younger looking. So glad I went. Plus I got to visit with friends.
I also saw "The Best Man" with an all star cast - James Earl Jones, Angela Lansbury, John Larroquett, John Stamos, Cybil Shepherd, and Kristin Davis. The play was timely and the cast was awesome. I couldn't get out of the theatre fast enough to do the stage door thing though. Just too many people and all of them in my way.
I leave Saturday to visit with Jill and go the the Olympics.
I am enjoying my life right now.
