I love autumn
Cooler temperatures, gorgeous foliage! This is why I love Maine.
I'm off to visit family later this week. I haven't seen them since May. Mom and Donna made Noah a calendar so he can count down the days until his Gee-Gee arrives. I can't wait to see him and talk to him. His verbal skills have changed so much over the last 6 months.
On a frivolous note, I am loving House this season. Finally letting House and Cuddy get together was a brilliant. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Bones is boring me. Been there, done that. I'm hoping it improves. They should have taken a risk and put Booth and Bones together. I keep thinking of The X-Files and how Chris Carter screwed up Mulder and Scully. At least, Booth and Brennan won't have an alien baby together. LOL!
NCIS could go either way. I keep remembering Buffy's last season and all those potentials. Not sure how I feel about the interns, especially Mini-Tony. I am also hoping for more scenes with Abby and McGee. I love those two characters together, especially when they are working together to solve a problem or just geeking out.
Ghost Hunters has started off with some interesting cases. Britt and KJ are fine, but I really miss the interaction between Steve and Tango. Those two make me laugh.
My cats are driving me nuts. I have two in my lap. Jack just arrived. He is so jealous of the others. He will shove anyone else out of the way if they get too close. He's going to be a big cat. At 6 months, he is already over 9 pounds. And he is fearless. I can't help but love the little monster. Rosie and Sarah Jane are doing well also. Most of my adult cats have resigned themselves to the kittens remaining here. All of them but Peanut. She hates everyone including me. I may have to get her some meds. My friend Maria has given her cats herbal remedies before with success. Peanut needs something. She is unhappy and I'm a little worried.
Work continues to be work. With winter around the corner, prescription counts will go up. I just hope our new hires start very soon. We are seriously understaffed thanks to my college students going back to school and one cashier quitting with a notice and the other cashier leaving for her lunch break and never coming back. B!tch.
