Love those Winchester boys...
ADORE those Winchester brothers on Supernatural! Or, to be more specific, Jensen and Jared...I know, I'm a cradle-robbing geek, I can't help it...but how could you not love (lust) two six foot something, twenty-something hotties who look so good together? They are so beautiful in such different ways...Jared with those bottomless dark eyes, Jensen with that gorgeous mouth and body...*sigh*
As for the show itself, it is brilliance...an eerie combination of Route 66 meets Twilight Zone (two of my favorite shows of all time). I love the old beat-up 60s muscle car and the father's creepy diary, and the idea of a constant road-trip with two gorgeous men hunting down strange creatures from the paranormal every week. It hits all of my retro, kink, and film noir buttons all at once. The story is intriguing and well-written, the dialogue is sharp and sarcastic, and the camera work is breathtakingly vintage/retro/Hitchock-esque. I love all the black-and-white scenes, how they play with light and dark and how the boys' skin and hair and clothes look so silky and textured in those shots...um, what was I talking about again? Anyway, brilliant, brilliant show.
