I can't believe the convertible is gone. Seems like I had that car forever, it was a classic. And I didn't find a clue to who did it, if the "red queen"
London said she saw was even real. I checked out all the usual haunts in Sunnydale, and some not so usual, but I didn't catch a whiff of
Dru. So I'm beginning to think I guessed wrong about it being her. London tagged along and never saw the red queen again either, at least while she was with me.
I'm still a little disturbed by how bloodthirsty she is in a fight. And the fact that we patrolled with
Buffy one night, and she wasn't the least bit surprised by it.
But I guess she is fighting on the side of good. I got a generator and refrigerator delivered and set up so London can have ice cream and lights. I hope she remembers how to get it started when she needs to. And I asked Buffy to rent me a car. Stupid small towns, no rental places are open after dark. I'll see if I can find another solid classic car when I get back to LA.
I'm a little disappointed I didn't see
Cordy once while I was here. In fact, she flew to London, according to Buffy. I guess the whole forgiveness thing is going to take a little longer. *Sigh.*
Not so sorry I managed to avoid
Spike.
But, I've been shirking my responsibilities at AI long enough. Time to get back and find out if
the gang has found a way to send
Melaka home. I hope
Faith managed to lure her out of her room a little. Guess I'll have to thank her for the teddy bear she slipped into my luggage...not sure if I should be a little offended by that or not. I think she totally misunderstood the entire doll buying thing.
