About all this freakin' protesting by women's rights groups regarding "Fifty Shades". First and foremost, I AM A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVOR!!! Neither the book, nor the movie, nor the BDSM lifestyle encourages or practices violence against women...or MEN for that matter! Not all subs are women! There are some men subs! Yes, there are some sexual sadist out there, but that is not what this lifestyle is about and saying so is a gross generalzation and unfair accusation! The relationship between and Dom and a sub is based on TRUST believe it or not! It takes a great deal of trust to WILLINGLY submit yourself to someone and this is a relationship carried out between INFORMED AND CONSENTING ADULTS!!! In addition, this book was written by a woman, read mainly by women and the movie was viewed and is STILL being viewed by, you guessed it, an audience where the majority is women! Thank you.
