This is a much better night. The stars shine in such a magnificent manner. Breathing life into the night sky.
I truly must apologize for my character yesterday. Even I found myself to be in a poor state. Your patience was most welcome though. And Count, you have my eternal thanks.
You were absolutely right. I was unbecoming. But, no more.
All of you who I spoke to and have never met before, I wish to speak to you again now that I am returned to normal. Let me think...there were several of you. The first of which had the most interesting opinions. Come now! Speak to me again!
And now, to make up for the lack of poetry (as someone pointed out to me), I will add a poem I am rather fond of. It is called The Tyger. It's imagery is beautiful and luscious. Please enjoy.
Tyger! Tyger! burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare sieze the fire?
And what shoulder, & what art.
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand? & what dread feet?
What the hammer? what the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp
Dare its deadly terrors clasp?
When the stars threw down their spears,
And watered heaven with their tears,
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?
Tyger! Tyger! burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
the tyger,
uncursed,
request,
laughing
