Starting to get excited
Well, I've been doing some checking on everything for our trip next year. Current price on roundtrip tickets from Tulsa to London is $450. ROUND TRIP.....they keep getting cheaper and cheaper every couple of weeks. Current price for Passport is $85. We are going to fill out our application for those in 10 days. That will put us one step closer to our goal. We are getting sooooo excited. Our projected trip date is a mere three and a half months away.
I know I have not been updating much lately. Work has been HELLA busy so I don't have much time here, and we are still without dsl at home. We're getting so farkin sick of SWBell because they keep telling us the DSL shouldn't be off, then yes that it is off, but it should be back on in the next day or two, then we find out they don't even have an order for us to have DSL, or that they don't have an order for our DSL to be turned back on. Its getting really fuckin ridculous. I called Cox and ordered a cable thru them and can go pick up the modem to do the install tonight, but now the DSL has green lights at home. ARGH....I dunno....if Davonna can't get the DSL running tonight I'm gonna suggest she just got get the cable modem.
Been in a mopey mood lately. Kinda lonely, but I deal. Someone I haven't spoke to in about a month called the other night and we talked for awhile. It was nice, bums me out in the end, but I'd rather be talking to him and be bummed out then not talking to him at all. He called again last night. Intelligent conversation is always nice. *sigh*
We're getting behind in bills. *sigh* I get a really really nice check on the 15th and I can get us caught up, but the water company wants $65 today....and we don't have it. Not sure what we're going to do about that yet. They won't wait the 10 days til I get the money either....bastards.
Not much else is going on. Halloween was cool. I was a faerie at work, Tori was a faerie cause she saw me as one. Brought the kids up to work and they scored big. Tons of candy. Took them to my parents and Davonna's parents. got a cute pic of Tori in her costume. Went to Tim's birthday party, had a good time, got home WAYYY too late but thats what you deal with when you're without a car and have to depend on other people. *sigh* Should be able to get my car fixed around the 15th too...as long as its able to be fixed.
I think thats all for now....I'm tired, stayed on the phone too late, but no regrets...
