Aragorn and Legolas did not expect it to happen, but now something challenges their friendship. A series of events brings them to remember that which had happened before, things best forgotten. At the same time, Aragorn struggles to survive, having to rely on his brothers, his father and Legolas - trying to put his trust in them again.
Nobody causes our poor ranger as much misery as San does. Truly! He's constantly on the verge of death. He gets ill, falls into icy rivers, through glass windows, get shot at, stabbed at, has mental breakdowns and has halluzinations. And is poisoned. The poor lad:) So it's really spiffy that his father is the bestest healer of the western hemisphere.
This story brings some closure to “Worthless”, which I highly recommend! The events in that story left a stain on Aragorn's and Legolas' friendship and the have to work a little to be able to trust each other again. So there's lost of angst going on (Besides the heavy poisoning - now Aragorn does not only have to touch everything, he also has to eat it!). And since angst is San's speciality, the story is a treat:)
