Fujitsu built a
laptop especially for women. In feminine pink. And it comes with a preinstalled horoscope app (because, apprently you can’t trust women to be able to install their own apps).
Thank you Fujitsu, for discovering what we’ve been missing all the years. Without you, I never would have guessed that doing all the menial tasks of checking my mail and visiting the interwebs on an ungendered personal computer was totally inappropriate! Finally someone understands that catering to the female buyer is done by putting floral designs on your product. What a world-shattering idea!
Okay, seriously? I’m usually not a feminist. But this is sexist and offensive. On the other, hand it’s somewhat funny that a global player has no better ideas. How did they even get the idea that this needed attention? I mean, do they truly think that only men buy laptops and that they have to put flowers on them to draw women into computer shops?
