40 chapters of angst ahead: Five years ago Aragorn was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Now - as he has become King Elessar -, the wrong person has come back to draw him into a cat-and-mouse game that may cost the lives of many humans - and Elves.
I've FINALLY gotten round to read San's serial killer fic and it's very worth it. As always, very Aragorn-centered, which gives the poor guy not one chapter of rest. He's stabbed, shot, drowns, runs fevers. You just want to pet and cuddle him… Anyway, great psychological thriller and a strong OC (the killer) with a surprising twist in one of the later chapters (seriously didn't expect that). Her style is a bit different from her other stories, a little more Tolkienesque (is this even a word?) and a little less flow of consciousness.
