yay i co-own (sort of) a sexy laptop!
i got to see ken's new laptop this weekend, and it's sexy. it's a toshiba (media edition). it's sleek, and has a really good sound system for a laptop. i already created an account for myself on it for soulseek (omg i can't wait for new music!) and once he's settled in to eric's place next month i'll move all my webpage and photo shit onto it.
i've also been playing o-kami like a fiend... it's sooooo pretty! the only annoying things i'm finding about it are the excessive amounts of dialogue in some bits and the "voices" they use for the characters... not words, just sort of like the teacher in charlie brown... the sound gets annoying during those long dialogue bits. and also, it's much more easy than i expected it would be. you get way too many hints than you should. i'll finish it too quickly if this keeps up.
i went to my mom's on sunday to start working on my costume... so far, no hitches, and everything is going quickly... much more so than antipicated! i must have gotten at least half finished. one more session, then all i'll need to do is buy some ribbon for the bodice, and i'll be done. then i get to tackle that wig i have... i wonder if it's possible to curl synthetic hair on a very low setting? anyone?
