some unrelated stuff... i'm wearing a denim-blue linen dress today that i've owned since 2001, and was only able to wear maybe 3 times before i got too chunky for it. and now i'm not. go me. i'm glad i never got rid of it. i liked it too much.
last night was really nice, i got to chill out with Phill for an hour and some before zaphod's at planet coffee... it's been a looong time since we've just sat around and shot the shit. i was telling him about my roomie woes, and the possiblitiy came up of having him move in with me. as far as personality and habits go, i'm pretty sure we'd be compatible. he's no longer the control freak he was when we were dating, and doesn't smoke up nearly as often. and since we've been through the whole relationship thing long ago, that would not be an issue at all. the thing is, is i know his financial and job background, and it's been more up and down than a damn rollercoaster. lately (for the past 2 years or so) he's been steadily employed (at different jobs), which is good. the rent where i am is only 75$ more than what he's paying now, and where he is now is, honestly, a shithole (but that's due to the other ppl living there, i know that). the more i think about it, the more the idea appeals to me. if i can be assured he'd be ok with the rent, i think it could work.
