I just found this(a description for episode 4 called A spectre calls)":Kirby(a ghost supposedly sent by Nina to help the group take care of the baby) wins them over with his feckless personality and proof that he's been sent out by Nina to help look after the baby.Annie soon falls for the handsome, charismatic ghost -perhaps Nina sent him for

I agree with the other commenters. 'Falling for someone' doesn't always equal falling in love. It could simply be a crush or a short-term thing. And anything that puts a smile on Annie's face, given how dark this series is probably going to be for her, is ACES in my book.
The one problem I have with that description is where it says that Nina sends this person. I really hope they explain, in-canon, why Nina herself can't return to protect her child. It's my own fanon/head-canon that supernatural beings (werewolves/vampires/zombies) can't become ghosts because the two supernatural types would, idk, cross each other out or something. (If this has been said before in canon, please remind me but I don't think it has.) It makes sense given what we've seen. I mean, if Mitchell could just hang about as a ghost, I doubt he would've been so paranoid about the wolf-shaped bullet prophecy. Likewise, if Herrick could've stuck around as a ghost, it's doubtful he would've gone to so much trouble to resurrect. But again, I'd like to see that acknowledged in-canon. That way it makes more sense why George+Nina couldn't stay behind to raise their daughter. I imagine ghost!parents would be better than none at all :(
