what do you think?

So, I'm rewatching some eps for this fic I'm starting and I noticed a few things that I had missed on the first round. In 2X7 Mitchell and Daisy are talking about finding Lucy (post box tunnel20) and she says something like "We'll kill everyone and then it will be just us" (totes paraphrasing) and then he says "no, there's someone else." It then ( Read more... )

I just read some theories about this somewhere, and the best one I heard was that he was talking about Cara. Since all of the sudden she's free of the basement and her and Daisy are like bff's going off to resurrect Herrick.

I wish he was talking about Annie though. That'd be such a blow-off to Daisy (whose character I was always kind of "meh" about) because you're right, it's like he hooked up with Daisy and then goes back to the house and tells Annie how attracted he is to her.

hmmm...but Mitchell didn't know that Cara had instructions to resurrect Herrick yet. He didn't learn that until season 3. It was just a random thing to leave hanging.

I don't think his intention was to resurrect Herrick, since he was so genuinely surprised to see him back and alive. I think it's kind of a plot hole for Cara to say "this is where Mitchell said his bones are buried" since we never saw him tell anyone that, but maybe he mentioned it in passing to some vampire or another to prove Herrick was dead since none of the other vampires saw it happen.

He could have meant Cara in terms of a vampire takeover, or whatever his aim was in this poorly thought out "revenge" scheme he had. Or it really could just be another plot hole overall that the writers forgot to actually fill in for us!

With how rude he was to George in that kitchen scene though (not just creepy, but just plain *mean* to scare him off), I don't think he was talking about George. If he was talking about either of his housemates, I would bet on Annie.

Surely there were other vampires he liked better then Cara, though! XD When plotting to take over the world, who do you choose? Oh, that girl that annoyed the crap out of me. ;) But I suppose that's really the only vampire that wasn't dead.

Yeah, he was very rude to George trying to get him to leave, but I can't really imagine it being Annie, except for the part where they couldn't kill her. So, meh, guess I'll chalk it up to plot hole. Thanks for the input though. Do you remember where you read the theories? I'd love to see them.

As much as I wanted him to be talking about Annie (maybe he was) I always thought he meant Cara because she was (I think) the only remaining vampire left? I still love that kitchen scene, despite is sleazy gloriousness!

haha, the scene does give me the heeby jeebies, but in a good way? Is that a thing? teehee. I don't really think he was talking about her, it just seemed odd because it felt like a really big thing he was saying and then we really dont' get a follow up.

aw, thanks! I'm hoping it isn't terrible. I'm almost ready to post a misfits fic so the BH fic has only half of my attention. But soon it will have it all!

Wow, I totally thought it was George (classic misdirection with the editing perhaps?), but upon hearing the theories about Cara, I think it must have been her. I think even blood-drunk Mitchell had to realise George would never be up for slaughtering innocent people.

I did wonder with that editing! But even with George walking the line and "allowing" Mitchell to get away with what he did, you're right, George wouldn't be up for killing a bunch of people.

I thought he meant there's someone else who can help him find Lucy. (the priest)

He mentioned the priest by name, so not the priest, but maybe someone else? I dunno. This whole thing has now made my head hurt. ;)

I should have watched the scene before i commented lol. Well I'm gonna watch it now but i think i'll settle with it being a hint about future A/M (even if it's not about that).
