First thing's first. I finally got a job :) Well a Seasonal job but a job nonetheless. I now work in the Young Men's department at The Jones Store, and I don't care what you former Jones Store workers say about how much you despised it because I don't give in that effortlessly. I'm looking forward to it, which probably sounds bizarre for you long time workers but it's my first job, give me a break, k?
School Update: hectic. so much to do. so much procrastination taking over.
If you didn't already know. I saw Coheed & Cambria tonight at the Beaumont (well yesterday night technically but i'm still awake so wtfever). My first punk/rock/lunatic-people concert. It was quite an experience. I've never seen so many people make complete fools of themselves till they can no longer stand & rub their disgusting sweat on people like myself. Maggie, Kathy, & I sat infront of the sound area on a railing which was actually really nice because we could clearly see the stage if we stood/sat on it. It helped to keep from getting too close to sweating beasts coming by. Not to mention CO&CA were amazing. I hate how after you see a concert, everything you saw feels so surreal.
Oh, and I how could I forget. I had my first concert fling, if that's what you'd like to call it. To sum it up, I made "friends" with the guy next me who coincidently is a Freshman at K-State (where I'm planning on attending college, if you didn't get the memo). He invited me to a party afterwards but I politely declined because that was going a little too far for me. I wouldn't have thought anything of him had he not started talking to me because he isn't the kind of guy I'd be attracted to but, his eyes were gorgeous...well...you know how it goes from there. We didn't exchange numbers or anything which I'm partly glad of because that would have led to tremedously awkward situations on my part.
I had other things I wanted to mention BUT they were cross canceled by the gitty-ness of tonight. Good night "darling" (as some creepy old guy at the Beaumont referred to me when trying to pass by).
