"They will be here any minute!" April said, frantically moving around the kitchen.

"What are you so worried about?" Bam asked, mid-bite of his apple, frowning when April shooed him off the counter top.

"What am I so worried about?! What am I so worried about!? We're meeting your future in-laws!" April exclaimed, only sitting when Phil made her. He started rubbing her shoulders, trying to get her to calm down.

"I'm sure everything will go well." Phil said reassuringly. He was just as nervous as April, just better at hiding it.

"But what if it fails miserably and our two families never get along?" April asked, her voice cracking with concern.

"That's just nonsense Ape. Who wouldn't love us?" Bam asked with a shrug.

April smiled a little, "That was sort of sweet Bam, thank you."

A knock on the door, brought everyones attention to it. Phil felt April go tense and he quickly kissed her cheek. "Lets go and greet our guests."

April nodded, standing while taking Phil's hand, to walk to the front door. Only then did they realize, Bam had run down the hall, and was already yanking the door open. It was snowing lightly, which came into the house on the cool, evening breeze. "Willa!" He exclaimed, throwing his arms around Ville, hugging him, while kissing him happily.

"Bam!" April scolded, dragging Phil to the front door with her. She gasped when Ville pushed Bam back into the house and against the wall, deepening the kiss as Jesse came into the house behind him. "Ville!" April scolded, getting no immediate reaction from Ville.

"Hello Mr and Mrs Margera." Jesse said in a friendly tone. He looked to Bam and Ville and chuckled. "Ville... Ville..." He hit his older brother on the shoulder until he finally released Bam's lips.

"Hello April and Phil." Ville offered, quickly going back to kissing Bam.

Jesse sighed, "He's hopeless."

"Like Bam is any better." April commented, making Jesse laugh.

From behind them came two figures. April was really worried now, as Anita and Kari Valo appeared from the outside. "Ville!" Anita scolded, looking to her oldest son.

"Yes momma?" Ville asked, looking to his mother quickly. Noticing the way she was looking at him, he quickly pulled away from Bam. "Sorry momma."

Anita smiled in an approving manner and looked to Bam. "Hello Bam."

Bam was pouting, not ready to release Ville. "Hello Anita."

"Well aren't you going to introduce us?" Kari asked Ville, who nodded quickly.

"These is Bam's family... well at least the main part of the family. April and Phil and his older brother Jess." Ville said, indicating to the present Margera's. Hello's and how are yous were exchanged.

"This is Kari and Anita, Ville's parents, and his little brother Jesse." Bam introduced, and again pleasantries were exchanged.

"I'm sure everyone is tired and hungry. I made a light snack in the kitchen with some tea, if you would like to follow me." April said happily, leading the Valo's into the kitchen, after their coats were hung up.

Ville started to follow his parents but was suddenly yanked back from them. He turned in time for Bam to capture his lips. He melted into Bam's embrace, wanting nothing more than to be with him.

"Ville!" Ville jerked away from Bam, when he heard Anita calling for him.

"Coming momma!" Ville yelled, already moving to see what she wanted.

"Be a dear and take care of the luggage." Anita asked, walking back over to them, smiling at Ville and Bam.

"Of course momma." Ville replied, kissing Anita on the cheek. He quickly took care of their things, lugging all of it up to the spare room. Bam frowned a little as this was all going on, though he did manage to smile for Anita when their eyes meet.

She smiled when he oldest son came back down the stairs, finished with the task. "You're such a good son." She said happily, patting him on the cheek."

"Thank you momma."

"Since he's done..." Bam started, wanting to steal Ville from his momma, but Anita cut him off again.

"You must try this tea April made, it's wonderful." Anita said, already leading her son away. "And she made these lovely little fruit tarts. I think you will like them a lot."

Oblivious to Bam's disappointment, Ville was easily lead away, chatting with his mother happily.

Bam sighed, "I hope this isn't a preview of how this entire weekend will be...." Still sulking, he hurried to join everyone else in the kitchen.

I have been meaning to post this for a while. I am not positive if this is the original ring I wanted to use, but it is damn close to it. This is what I thought Bam and Ville's rings would look like. Feel free to imagine them the way you want too. If my friend gets the internet back, I will have her send me the pictures of the rings I wanted from the beginning.

Bam came into the kitchen, with a distinct scowl on his face. His hair was sticking up, in every different direction possible, and he was only wearing a pair of pj bottoms. He took a seat at the table and laid his upper body on it.

"Bam!" April exclaimed, at the way her son looked, he hadn't even bothered to shave before coming downstairs. She hissed obscenities, as she burned herself on the waffle iron in front of her.

Bam smiled, getting up to walk over to his mother. "Nice breakfast choice Ape." He offered, leaning against the counter. "I'm sure the Valo's will love eating Mickey Mouses head for breakfast."

April frowned, glaring at Bam. "As much as I'm sure they will love a son-in-law who doesn't know how to get dressed before noon." April teased, going back to breakfast. "I haven't used this thing since you were ten years old!"

"Mmm... I use to love waking up to devour Mickey's head." Bam reminisced.

"You were always a strange child." Ape smacked his hand when he grabbed a waffle, but since he already bit a ear off, she let him have it. "Go get dressed before everyone else sees you."

"Don't be silly Ape. You and Phil are going to be the only ones dressed at this hour."

"Hell, you're lucky you got Mr Lazy Ass up before noon." Jess teased, putting Bam in a head lock, giving him a nuggie. "Being dressed as well is too much to ask for."

Bam laughed and was soon wrestling around with Jess, much to Ape's dismay. "Can you at least pretend to be normal for one weekend Bam? These are Ville's parents!"

Jesse, fully dressed like Ape and Jess, stopped in the doorway. He noticed, that Bam had the upper hand on his brother, a smirk forming on his lips. He crept along the far side of the kitchen, and right up behind Bam. Hooking his arms around the skater, he did a quick take down, slowing it down to soften the blow. He wanted Bam down, but not out for the count. He quickly moved so he could pin Bam down on the kitchen floor.

Jess, after dropping to his knees to count a speedy 1-2-3, stood up and cheered; "One for the Jess'!!"

Jesse chuckled and released Bam, who continued to lay on the kitchen floor laughing, his cheeks as flushed as his ass that had fallen out of his pants.

"Would you mind covering yourself?!" Ape asked, looking down at Bam. "Someone might see you."

Bam continued to lay there and laugh, "Who hasn't seen my ass yet?" Bam posed, making April's eyes go wide.

"Ville's parent's for one!" April yelled, looking to Jesse when he laughed, noticing the way Bam was blushing more.

"Nope... even they have seen Bam's ass. It happened, many moons ago, when Ville was still just his drinking buddy, slash, make out partner." Jesse said, taking a seat at the kitchen table. "They decided they couldn't wait to use the bathroom inside, and water momma's garden instead. Papa went to shoo what they assumed was vagrants from the garden, and found Bam and Ville instead. Momma had come with him, so they got a full view of both of their asses, since you know drunks have no idea how far to pull their pants up or down."

"In our defense, we thought it was the neighbors yard. We also didn't want to piss on our pants." Bam put in, causing everyone but April to laugh.

"Only you Bam.... only you." Ape shook her head before she kicked his leg. "Now get up, and go get dressed, take a shower while your up there."

Bam laughed, "You have never had a Jager bomb night either, sans the red bull." He laughed harder when she kicked his leg. "Child Abuse!"

"What is Ozzy's name is going on in here?" Ville asked, appearing through the doorway.

Bam hurried to his feet, pulling his pants up in the process, amazed at what he saw. Ville had always been a bum in the morning with Bam, for as long as they had been friends. He would come downstairs, barely awake, unlit cigarette dangling from his lips; the though of a cool refreshing beer on his mind. But here he was, fully dressed, washed, shaved; and if that wasn't enough- looking extremely sexy.

"Nothing... just kicking Bam's ass." Jess said, giving Jesse a high-five, before throwing his arm around him to hug him. "I like this kid." He looked to his mom. "Can we keep him?"

Ape chuckled, "I think his own mother might miss him."

Jess pouted, making Jesse laugh till he was red in the face, now he could see what the Margera brothers had in common. "Thats not fair. I'm sure if Bam would have asked, he would have gotten it... he gets everythinghe wants." He looked at Jesse again and they both cracked up laughing.

Bam hurried over to Ville, while the taller man rolled his eyes at their mutual brothers. "Good morning Ville."

Ville smiled, leaning in to kiss Bam gently. "Good morning love. They didn't hurt you did they? I would like to have you in working order, so eventually we can have fun again." He smiled at Bam as they both chuckled.

"Speaking of which..." Bam peeked over his shoulder as he lead Ville from the kitchen, and to the living room. "Where were you last night? I missed you." Bam said softly, pulling Ville close.

Ville frowned, crossing his arms. "I think it would be best if I slept in a separate room..." He placed his finger over Bam's mouth when it dropped open, stopping any verbal protest. "Just for now love. Just while my parents are here alright?"

Bam pouted, but didn't get a chance to say anything else, since he heard people coming down the stairs.

"Ville darling!" Anita said and instantly Ville pulled away from Bam, and hurried over to his mother. "You look wonderful this morning." Anita said, embracing Ville gently, as they exchanged kisses on the cheek. "Do you like the shirt I bought you?" She asked, running her hands over said shirt.

"Of course momma... you have excellent taste as always." Ville replied, quickly adding: "And you look lovely this morning."

She smiled, patting Ville on the cheek. "I love you so much Ville... never forget how much your momma loves you." She looked to Bam ,and her smile diminished a little. "Hello Bam...? Have you just gotten up dear?" She asked, looking Bam over.

Bam suddenly understood why April had tried so hard to get him to get dressed, he was the only one in the house who wasn't ready to start the day. He not only felt exposed, but completely foolish. "Yah... I... was in a hurry to see if Ape needed help with anything." He offered, meeting Ville's gaze for a moment, only partly reassured when Ville mouthed that he was sorry.

"It's alright dear. We all have off days." Anita said, hooking her arm around Ville's. "Come darling." She said, already pulling Ville away. Kari was already in the kitchen, talking to Phil, who was just sitting at the table with their respective sons. Ville quickly looked back at Bam, and waved, following his mother obediently into the kitchen.

Bam sighed unhappily, wondering if they should have just eloped or something. He hurried upstairs so he could get dressed for the day.

"Don't you think it should be bigger?" Anita asked, holding Ville's hand in her own, examining his ring.

"I love it momma, just the way it is." Ville said, which made Bam smile happily.

"Don't you think it should be bigger though?" Anita again posed, meeting Bam's eyes, silently accusing him of not giving her son what he really deserved.

"Those are real diamonds." Bam offered, since he wasn't sure what else he could say to defend their choice.

"I like simple rings." Ville said, remembering the plain silver bands he use to wear.

"I know dear, but this is such an important part of your life. I just want what's best for you." Anita offered, patting Ville's hand.

Ville smiled and looked at Bam, "I do have what's best for me... right next to me." His words made Bam smile happily, as they leaned in for a sweet kiss. "I love you Bam." He whispered softly, making Bam smile more.

"I love you too Ville." Bam whispered back, rubbing their noses together, which made them laugh.

Kari cleared his throat and Ville quickly pulled away from Bam, turning his attention to Anita, who was smiling once more. "Well as long as you're happy thats all that matters."

"I am very happy momma." Ville peeked at Bam, noticing the sad look on his face, he reached under the table and gave Bam's knee a gently squeeze. Bam looked up at Ville and their eyes meet. "Bam makes me very happy." Bam returned Ville's smile as they laced their fingers together. Bam placed his free hand over Ville's hand, his eyes reflecting the joy that Ville brought into his life.

"I still think the ring should be bigger." Anita commented, still holding Ville's other hand.

"He's not a rapper momma." Jesse suddenly said. Anita's reaction was so comical, Bam and Ville could barely resist, laughing at her shocked look of disapproval.

"Of course he isn't! God forbid something like that happen!" She looked at Ville, like she wanted to cover his ears, and prevent him from hearing such a horrible thought.

"Then why would be dressed like one momma? Only rappers need giant pieces of jewelry..." Jesse hinted, causing Anita to frown.

"He has a point Anita." Kari put in, making Anita scowl more. He looked at Bam's ring and shrugged, "It's about the same size as mine.... and mine isn't too small." Kari offered.

"I know... but it's Ville..." Anita tried.

"I like my ring momma... I helped Bam pick it out. It's exactly what I wanted." Ville put in, there was conviction in his words, and yet still an underlying bit of worry that he had crossed a boundary with his mother.

Anita carefully picked up her tea cup and sipped on it. "Whatever makes you happy darling..." She might as well of said what she really thought, the tone was there, the hint was there; but instead she left it to their imaginations.

Ville sighed, "I'm sorry momma..."

"No, no, no... don't be Ville. It is a lovely little ring." Anita said, patting him on the cheek. She smiled, but it wasn't the same smile as before, it was fake.

Bam went to defend Ville, but was stopped. Ville looked to Bam, his eyes opened more to show this was serious. He shook his head every time Bam got a syllable out, until Bam gave up. "I'm going outside to have a smoke." He said as he stood up. Before leaving, he leaned in and kissed Bam on the cheek.

"I really wish you would quit smoking... it's not good for your asthma." Anita put in, finishing her tea.

"I'll try momma." Ville said back, unlit cigarette already held firmly between his lips.

"More tea Anita?" April said, coming over to the table with a fresh pot.

"That would be lovely April, thank you." Anita said, using a smile that had some emotion to it, as she held out her cup. "It's delicious."

Bam was frowning, picking at a napkin, when he heard a knock on the sliding glass door to the back porch. He turned his head to look and spotted Ville, smoke drifting from his lips. Their eyes meet and Ville jerked his head to the side, silently requesting to Bam join him outside. Bam smiled and hurried from his seat, "I think I'm going to have..."

"Bam darling..." Bam winced, skidding to a stop, his hand right above the handle to the door. He opened one eye and meet Ville's, the older man sadly frowning at Bam.

Bam mouthed a 'I'm sorry' and turned to look back at Anita. "Yes Anita?"

"You should have some of this lovely tea that your mother worked so hard to make. Tea is really good for you, much better than coffee or soda." Anita said causally.

Bam looked back outside, but Ville had already given up, and was sitting on the stairs with his back to Bam. He sighed and slowly walked back to the table, sitting down across from Kari and Anita. Ape came over with another cup and poured him some. He offered her a smile and drank from the side of the cup. "Mmm... delicious."

"Not like that Bam darling... I know your mother must have taught you better than that. Like this." Anita said, showing him the proper way to drink from the cup. Bam did his best smile, and sipped from the side of the cup like Anita had just shown him. This made Anita very happy, "Very good Bam." She reached out and gave him a gently pat on the cheek like he did to her own sons.

"I think I will join Ville for a smoke." Kari suddenly said, getting up from the table. Anita leaned her cheek out, so he could kiss her, which he did.

"You really should quit smoking too Kari. You know what the doctor said." Anita said, sipping from her cup.

"I'll try." Kari answered, before walking outside to sit next to Ville.

Bam frowned, he just had to make it through the weekend. He could do that, it couldn't be that hard. Just a weekend of playing nice with Ville's parents... he already got through last night, and this day was practically over. Two more nights and Ville would be all his again... to love and hold and kiss... and make sweet, sweet love with....

"Bam darling... you really shouldn't slouch like that." Anita's voice broke into Bam's thoughts.

Drawing in a breath, Bam sat up more and smiled. "I'm sorry Anita... would you like some cookies with your tea?"

Anita smiled, "That would be wonderful Bam, how thoughtful of you."

Bam nodded and walked over to the cupboard, finding a nice dish to put the cookies on. Just two more nights... Friday night was done... today was Saturday... they left on Monday morning. Ville wouldn't be leaving until Wednesday night...

Just two more nights....

"You should stop smoking." Kari said, taking a seat next to Ville on the stairs. "Let me use your lighter."

With smoke floating from his lips, Ville held out his zippo, lighting his fathers cigarette. "You're not one to talk."

Kari chuckled, taking a drag from his cigarette. "It's the one thing your mother, god bless her soul, couldn't control. Gave me a break from the house too." Ville chuckled, remembering how as soon as he was old enough, he joined his father on these trips outside. All the Valo men needed a break now and then. "I have to say... I was impressed by Bam. He handled her very well, and that's not an easy task. I'm still learning how to get my favorite type of yogurt."

A smile formed on Ville's lips, "I know what you mean, we could all take a tip from him." The smile faltered on Ville's lips, as he watched the smoke float from his cigarette.

"Something wrong Ville?" Kari asked, making his son smile for a moment, since he rolled the 'i' to pronounce it in its entirety. It was something Kari had always done, and since few people did it, it always seemed special to Ville.

"I get the impression you don't want to be here papa." Ville stated bluntly, taking a drag from his cigarette. "Are you only here because momma made you?"

Kari puffed on his cigarette silently for a moment, not looking at his oldest child. "Yes and no."

Ville nodded, tapping his ashes into the coffee can they kept outside for this purpose. Silently, he picked it up and passed it to Kari, who tapped his ashes into it. Ville sat it between them and stared at the ground.

"It's not an easy thing to explain Ville."

"Life rarely is." Ville said softly, looking at the side of his father's face. "Could you try anyways?"

Kari drew in a breath and thought about it, "It's just... I want to be so happy for you Ville. This is a very important part of your life. I should be happy that you found someone you love so much that you want to marry them..."

"Yet you're not happy." Ville said, sadness creeping into his voice, knowing what was coming next. "Because Bam is a..."

"It's not as simple as you marring a man. True... this is not how I saw your life playing out." Kari said.

"Then what is it papa?"

After stumbling over his words, Kari exclaimed, "He makes a living getting his ass branded!"

Ville started laughing, closing his eyes as he pictured that particular moment, though the ensuing results of it were not as amusing.

"See... this is what I mean Ville. You think it's funny."

"It's suppose to be funny papa."

"It won't be funny when he gets injured." Kari said, his tone becoming so serious Ville unconsciously straighted up.

"He's been injured before papa...." Ville offered meekly.

"I know... just like Jesse has. It comes with their chosen careers. It doesn't make it any easier to worry about them." Kari answered softly.

Ville's eyes went wide and for a moment he could only stare at the side of Kari's face. He had, after all, expected Kari to worry about Jesse. What father doesn't worry about their son? Kari didn't always show how he felt, especially to people outside of his family, but Ville always had a sense that it was there. Kari had never mentioned Bam's job before and they didn't really talk about it that much. So to hear anything along the lines that Kari was concerned about it... just seemed shocking. "Are...are you worried about Bam papa? That he would get hurt...?" Ville barely got his question out when Kari shot to his feet.

"No! But your momma... she won't stop talking about it." Lie Ville thought, but stayed silent, letting his father talk. "All it would take it one wrong fall and he would be brain dead... or just dead!" Kari exclaimed. Ville had seen him mention a concern like this only once before, and that was when Jesse had first displayed interest in Thai boxing. One wrong kick to the head and he would be brain dead... or just dead!

Of course even then, he had said it was their mothers concern, and not his own. It seemed like a white lie to Ville, so he had never held it against their father. But in reality, Anita had always vocalized her concerns on both of these matters, so he knew this was the way Kari expressed his own fear. "Bam knows what he is doing..." Ville said, standing up.

"I'm sure he thinks he does Ville... but it just takes one wrong move. Just one misplaced step and he's done. Then what Ville? I... we saw the way you were when you two were fighting. I... your mother doesn't think, you could handle not having Bam, for the rest of your life."

Again Ville was speechless, he gazed at his father, who was cursing under his breath. "So this is about me not Bam. You're worried Bam is going to mess up and die and that I won't be able to handle living without him?" He nodded when Kari shook his head, trying to deny the accusation. "That's it... that's why you have been so quiet. It's not that momma isn't letting you speak. It's your afraid I'm going to get hurt in the end."

"Well your mother has a little to do with it." Kari tried to joke, but it came out dryly. "She has something to do with everything after all."

Ville offered his father a small smile, "Papa.... the truth."

"I... I just... we... we don't want to loose you Ville. Your momma was so worried about you when you broke up with Bam. She thought she was going to loose you, that would destroy her. Think of what I would have to endure then!?"

Ville chuckled, looking down for a moment, "She would be really heart broken..." He looked up, walking over to his father and hugged him gently.

Kari returned the hug, closing his eyes. "I love you Ville... I don't want to ever see you that sad again." He whispered, truly frightened of what Ville would do if that happened.

"I won't be... as long as I have Bam." Ville said back softly, pulling away from Kari. "I have known Bam for seven years papa. I have dated him for five of them. I know what I am in danger of loosing... but to me... the gain is worth the price."

Kari drew in a breath and nodded, opening his mouth to speak when someone opened the door. They both looked to Anita, who was standing in the doorway, wrapping a shawl around her shoulders. She smiled at them and they quickly finished their cigarettes. Ville climbed the stairs and kissed his mother on the already offered cheek. "I love you momma."

"I love you too Ville." She watched him enter the house and then turned her eyes to Kari. He stopped in front of her and for a moment they just gazed into each others eyes. "I love you too Kari."

Kari smiled, leaning in to kiss her on the lips. "I love you too Anita. Even if you are a controlling bitch."

Anita laughed, slapping Kari on the chest playfully. "You old fool. Would you want it any other way?" She posed with a well placed wink before turning, heading back into the house.

Kari drew in a breath and sighed, shaking his head. "No... I wouldn't." He closed the door and followed his family inside.

"Are you sure that's enough salt?" Anita asked, making it hard for April to continue smiling at her.

"Yes... I am sure it's enough salt." April said as nicely as she could.

Anita frowned, still not convinced. She crossed her arms as Kari came up from behind her. He placed his hands on her shoulders, and kissed her cheek gently.

"I think Ville needs your help with something." Kari said, meeting April for a knowing smile. He was well aware of how his wife liked to hover.

"Ville!" Anita cried out with a wide smile, hurrying off to see what Ville needed.

April relaxed, and went back to frying hamburgers, "Thank you Kari."

"You're welcome." Kari smiled and went back to the table. He was playing monopoly with Phil, Jess, and Jesse. While they had been waiting for Kari to deal with Anita, Jess and Jesse had started to arm wrestle. Kari grabbed Jess' hand, and pushed it, so Jesse's hand touched the table. "There you win... lets continue the game."

"Hahaha... I win." Jess said in a playfully teasing way.

"That's not fair papa. Why did you do that?" Jesse asked, pouting as Kari took his turn.

"Because you have medals to prove how strong you are." Kari replied simply. he peeked at his youngest son when he beamed. "And a real fighter wouldn't need to prove his strength..." He chuckled at the way Jesse pouted, reaching out to rub his hand over Jesse's shaved head. "Now take your turn, or I will tell your momma you need her help."

Jesse hurried to take his turn, "That was nice what you did for April.. but poor Ville."

****
Bam giggled as Ville pushed him onto the couch, pulling Ville close as their lips meet. He moaned happily into it, as they ran their hands over each other. Everyone was in the kitchen currently, so Ville had taken the moment to sneak off to the dark living room with Bam for a little make out session. "God I've missed you Ville." Bam whispered, reaching around to grab Ville's ass.

Ville chuckled, kissing Bam deeply, wrapping his arms around him to hold him close. "I've missed you too." Ville kissed Bam again, steadily deepening it, before moving to kiss along Bam's jaw and neck.

Bam tipped his head to the side, so Ville would have more room, closing his eyes. "Are you sure you can't share my room?"

"Mmm... I might just have to sneak in tonight." Ville said, meeting Bam for a smile, before they kissed again.

"Ville?" The light clicked on, and Anita came walking over to them. "Do you need something love?"

Bam flopped backwards, well his head anyways, and frowned.

"Umm... no... I'm alright momma." Ville offered, trying to mentally send her away.

Anita frowned, "Are you sure? Your papa said you needed me."

"No... he must have been mistaken. Maybe he meant Jesse needed you." Ville offered, knowing already that she wasn't going to leave, at least not without him.

"Well you should come and have some tea with me Ville... you too Bam." Anita said, smiling, waving to them.

Ville sighed and pulled away from Bam. He got up and offered Bam a hand, who reluctantly took it, following the Valo's into the kitchen with everyone else. "I'm sorry Bam... she..."

"I know Ville." Bam whispered back, leaning in to kiss him gently.

****
"Anita!" Kari hissed through his teeth, pushing away from the table as he hurried over to his wife. He smacked her hand, causing her to frown at him in displeasure. "What are you doing?"

"There isn't enough salt... I know there isn't." Anita whispered back, standing over the batch of home made french fires. She had waited until April's back was turned, and had rushed over to the basket, to dispense what she assumed was a proper amount of sodium on the fried potatoes.

"Anita please..." Kari begged, running his hand along her cheek. "Please... for me."

Anita frowned and crossed her arms, still clutching the salt shaker. She looked away from Kari, her nose slightly in the air, a child like pout on her lips. "Dinner is going to be ruined." She whispered.

"You don't know that Anita... darling, sweet heart, love of my life. Please... just go and sit down. Please... I'm begging you. For Ville alright?" Kari begged, as April came back into the kitchen with the grilled hamburger buns.

"And what of Ville? She has made a whole plate of Angus burgers for everyone and didn't take Ville into account."

"Would you listen to yourself Anita? I'm sure April thought of him. She wouldn't leave him with no food. This isn't the first time Ville has eaten here after all!" Kari said with as much strength as he could muster.

As if on cue, Phil came into the house, holding a single plate with a burger on it and a pile of grilled veggies. "Here you go Ville. Didn't want it to get mixed up with the others." He said, smiling as he placed the veggie burger in front of Ville.

"Thank you Phil." Ville said with a smile, smelling the delicious aroma of veggie goodness.

Anita frowned, but more from embarrassment then anger. There was one thing she hated more in life, and that was to be made a fool. She slammed the salt shaker down and hurried over to the table, stopping next to it as she waited for Kari. Kari sighed and walked over, pulling out the seat for her, before sitting down himself.

"Everything looks delicious." Kari said with a smile, as everyone else joined them.

April smiled, bringing over the basket of fries and a tossed salad. "I'm so glad." She looked up as Jess came in with his wife and children. After washing up, they joined everyone else at the table.

Anita silently ate her food, watching everyone at the table. The way Bam was leaning back in his chair, eating his hamburger with one hand, dunking french fries in ketchup with the other; his leg was draped over Ville's lap. Ville was eating his grilled veggies, running his other hand over Bam's leg, under the table. Jess was talking to Kari, laughing about something they found amusing. Jess and his wife were attending to their children, who Anita was actually surprised to see how well behaved they were. April and Phil were having a conversation, that eventually pulled Bam and then Ville into it.

Bam had turned to face his parents, holding his bowl of salad against his chest, as he ate it. Ville was holding his veggie burger in one hand, his other running along Bam's knee. They were laughing at something Phil has said, when Bam looked at Ville. They gazed at each other for a moment, with that sort of radiate love that never faded.

Carefully, Anita put her fork down and picked her napkin up, wiping her mouth off. Silence fell over the table as she looked to April. "Dinner is lovely April." She offered April a small, but honest smile, and the rest of her family smiled at her with pride.

"I'm glad you liked it Anita." April said happily, looking to Phil. While she had her back turned, Anita added more salt to her own plate.
