Just Add Snow...
So the building work was due to take just over week, finishing around the middle of next week. We are camped out in the upstairs sitting room, with a kettle, lots of fruit, biscuits and eating take-aways.
Then I heard that the Met Office had released a severe weather warning for snow in London and the south-east. Not good. However, the BBC seems to think there probably won't be much snow in London itself. Unfortunately one of the workmen drives from Bishops Stortford, which may yet find itself under lots of white stuff. We shall see.
