Like a bad penny
I came out of hospital last night (Saturday). D brought me home and I went straight to bed and listened to the Last Night of the Proms on the radio.
Thank you very much everyone for your good wishes. The surgeons told me the operation was a success, I did not lose too much blood, and the night nurse on the ward accused me of fibbing and said I hadn't had an op at all! :D Of course I confessed... :D
The pain is well under control, and I'm going to have a very lazy morning.
