There's mess and there's my study

Aug 31, 2009 23:12

My study is a mess. It makes the average teenager's bedroom look tidy. Though colleagues at work with teenage children tell me that my study can't possibly be as untidy as their teenagers' bedrooms. They haven't seen my study.

So D and I have made a start on going through the piles on my study floor. And some of things on the shelves, such as boxes containing the discs for software that came with the computer before last. Or, most heart-breakingly, letters from people I am no longer in touch with.

There has been progress. We can see carpet. I'm at home for the rest of the week, so hopefully the room should look a little more civilised by Friday. Or at least little more like the average teenager's bedroom.

Well, I can hope.
