Life Without Taxes -- Allodial Title?

Since people can not choose where they are born, and in many cases can't choose where they will live, I think it should be possible for a person to live within the USA, near to where they were born, without paying any taxes, if they are willing to live off their land.

For example, at the moment, we have all our bills paid, including having the house paid off, and money in the bank. We should be able to quit working right now, and live off our land, without the tension of having to raise money to pay property tax. The requirement to pay property taxes means that we must take part in the economic system of this civilization, and thus we must become part of this civilization, even though we know that it is destroying life on Earth.

We, or anyone, who has paid off all of their obligations, should be able to, if they can live off their land, to do so without needing to be part of the economic system.

In our case, we would need to turn off the phone, cell phone, electricity, garbage pickup, propane delivery, internet service, and any other recurring bills. We would need to pay off our paved private road, but we technically have the money to do that. We also have enough money to buy some food to store, and the things needed to grow food.

Some of my family members have argued that property taxes pay for things like roads, schools, police, fire departments, etc. I think for those, there should be something other than property taxes to pay for them.

For roads, that should be paid for by fuel taxes, since 99.99% of road use, wear and tear, is from people driving fuel powered vehicles.

For schools, the schools are currently structured to prepare people to plug into civilization, and to be a cog in the great machine. I should not be required to pay for that unless I either approve of it, or I am sending children there. At the moment, I'm doing neither.

For police, the only need we would have is if someone was attempting to steal something or to harm us. In this case, if we call on them, then I understand that we would have an obligation to pay taxes or in some other way to make up for whatever service they provided. A better way to pay would be for businesses that want more protection to pay taxes, as well as sales taxes, when people buy things (since those things might be subject to stealing later on).

For fire, I think something similar, where it was an obligation only after the fire department responded. The question would be how to pay for them putting out the fire of a neighbor's house. Another issue is whether an overall payment system like this would encourage fire fighters, or family members, to start fires, such that the fire fighters would get some pay. But again, business taxes and sales taxes should be able to be enough to ensure that fire departments were in place and that people were being paid; and the fee-for-service could be structured such that arson would not be beneficial to that particular fire department.

There are other things that the government provides: social security payments, a military, regulations, etc. For social security, again, I don't think property taxes should go for that, since we would be agreeable not to receive any payments. (I realize property taxes don't go to that currently.) For the military, I'm opposed to what they are doing already, so I certainly don't want to pay for them. It could be argued that I (in some way) benefit because no one is invading my property. If we think back, it used to be an all volunteer army, which was called together only during an invasion of our country. I would be agreeable to having the choice to either participate in an army, or alternately, being willing to flee and give up my claims to this property.

Sales taxes would not have to be the same percentage on all items. For example, fuel might have a 100% tax, whereas buying fruit from a neighbors fruit tree might have a 0% tax.

There is a concept known as "allodial title", where a person can live on their land without ever paying taxes again. This is not available in many places, and not in Michigan, although I would be interested in seeing this become law.

There should be a way for people who want to live off there land to do so without being part of the economic system which is destroying life on Earth. Such a thing being unavailable, everyone is forced to be part of this system, and this civilization, and each person is complicit in the act of destruction.
