Is money real? Does it matter if it is not?

What is it?
It is a symbol, which represents something that I can get in the future. That something is some form of energy: either energy to use, energy that has been used to build something, control of energy to use it in a certain manner, that something could even be a representation of increased odds of something happening with energy somewhere. In other words, money represents a command of energy.
