The War Against Nature & The Assessment of the Enemy

Aug 08, 2009 16:15

We are winning the war against nature, but the potential exists for nature to gain alias against us.

We started this war thousands of years ago. Prior to that, we lived or died just like animals. If there was lots to eat, then we lived. If there was little to eat, then we died. At some point we recognized that we could control our own food destiny. Eventually, we invented animal husbandry and farming. In doing so, we made the animals and the land subject to our will, to give us the more consistent supply of food that we wanted.

Today, we have nearly succeeded in destroying nature. Animals who threatened us have been eradicated. Forests where little food grew were leveled, smoothed, and became our farms, ranches, homes, and cities. We have won battles big and small in this war. Now, success is nearly in our grasp.

There are a handful out there, traitors to our race, who, due to insanity, are defecting to fight against us in this war. These betrayers are unorganized incompetents who are evil and wish to destroy all that we have built.

Many flagged as potential terrorists are under close surveillance. They work or volunteer for nonprofit environmental and animal protection organizations. Their legal efforts are, in most cases, futile, but their "successes" are often enough to keep them occupied and harmless. Our tolerance of their presence actually serves to demonstrate our humanitarian and benevolent selves, which in turn helps strengthen and solidify support the unquestioning faith in the war effort.

The risk is that either or both sets of these degenerates might, with their inside knowledge of our war methods, strike some damaging blow to our war machine. This is a risk that must be closely studied and guarded against.

All in all though, the resistance to our expansion has been minimal, and the most significant impediment has been the result of our own friendly fire, as one or another group of us has fought over the way in which we pursue total victory.

The biggest challenge that eventually faces us will be afterwards, in the stabilization and reconstruction of the atmosphere. As with any war, fighting may make the battlefield barren for a while, and it is to be expected that there will be some temporary undesirable consequences on our way to total victory. Notably, our scientists are developing singularly innovative plans that will lead to full mastery of the climate.

The war against nature is almost won. We need to hold course and keep doing what we've been doing well. Most importantly, we need to ensure that the global economy quickly is brought back to its full employment and globalized consumptive war efforts; for in this lies our freedom, our happiness, and our ultimate victory.

freedom, evil, liberty, war, environment, nature, progress
