I'm not sure I really would qualify as either to most. I'm sure, for a moment, I was one or the other to some of the readers of the articles.

After forwarding the article to the local press, two or three mini-newspaper artciles, and four additional phone intereviews... Kalamazoo Gazette, Hastings Banner, Allegan County News, Grand Rapids Press and WJR Talk Radio Detroit.

Plus, I've been able to set a date firm for "The International Conference on Peak Oil and Climate Change: Paths to Susainability" for Friday, May 30, 2008 to Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Calvin College in Grand Rapids; confirm with several speakers; and start working on the NEXT conference for the fall!!! (All info at LocalFuture.org.)

Plus, within the online peak oil community, I imagine a few people actually know who I am, which will be nice when I send out the invite for the conference. ;-)

Oh, I almost forgot one more (and the last). On Thursday, the WSJ published a letter to the editor about the article, which probably increased readership even more.

I guess the informal grassroots peak oil education campaign is really starting to catch on! :-)
