Yay pointless meetings
Just got back from the UK/Ireland meeting thing. It was pretty pointless, considering I couldn't hear any of the speakers very well (I couldn't find parking so I had to sit in back), these two girls behind me kept whispering loudly, and I'm pretty sure I was the only one there going to IRELAND, much less UC Dub. Dammit. Oh yeah, and I have a headache too.
Now I'm back and insanely sweaty (thank you, 95 degree Davis and heated by computer room) and my allergies are, as usual, horrid, and my head still hurts. Tonight I have to write two papers. At least one is a rough draft. But... GOD. Yeeech. TOO HOT.
It does not thrill me that I don't know of anyone going to Ireland. There HAS to be someone out there who went before...
