So yeah. I think that's it so far. This year was pretty light in terms of gifts (compared to most years) because, well, when does our family EVER have money? But I got a crapload of stuff from Steven's family which more than made up for things. I mean seriously WOW. And anyway, the point is not to see who gets the most. I'm pretty satisfied so far, although there are a few things I wanted that I did not recieve (but I now have gift cards and cash with which to buy said things, so no problem). I am extremely pissed that one of the huge surprises I was going to get Steven (which has not come in the mail yet) was given to him by his parents instead... grrrr!!! So I feel like an idiot about that. But, you know, whatever. (And yes, Andrew, the fmeh was a big hit. =D)

I still can't believe I actually got a clarinet. I mean, our household is very musical (duh) so it's normal to get an instrument for each holiday. Over the course of my life, I've gotten two keyboards, a flute, a ukelele, a guitar, an electric bass, and probably something else like a tin whistle for various holidays. But... I actually played all those instruments (more or less). I do not play the clarinet at all... I just wanted one so I could learn. And now that I have one, I intend to learn how to play the damn thing. (Especially since I am currently mad at the flute for bashing me in the teeth on Christmas Eve... haha just kidding.) The open holes thing will be a problem, as will the air thing (on a flute, more air = better sound... I long ago discovered this is not the case on a clarinet). But dude, I have my own net now. It's all matte and new and the cork is all intact and the case isn't scratched and the reed is new and it's MINE.

Yay Christmas. Too bad I had a headache from about 5am-8pm today... that sort of ruined things. Oh, and my mom made the best Christmas dinner EVER. I LOVE her roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, but this year was better than usual for some reason. I just could not get enough food today, hehe.

Oh well. Off to bed I go, I guess. Which one of my six pairs of new socks will I wear tomorrow?

loot, headache, christmas, clarinet, list, socks
