Music geekiness strikes again, and Samantha's latest antics
Wow, story of the day... Samantha is learning to talk, and today she said "dildo". I think it was an accident. But I cracked up anyway.
When I woke up this morning, I was a little dizzy... and now it's back. Man, I don't want to deal with the dizziness again. Maybe I'll lie down or drink a bottle of water and they lie down... or take a pill, drink a bottle of water, and lie down. Whatever.
Orrrrr...
Since the roommates aren't home currently, now would be a perfect time to play the clarinet. And by "play" I mean "play around with and see if I can make it not squeak." Yeah, I should practice flute, since I haven't played since... god, probably Picnic Day! But, meh. My goal is to someday be able to play any instrument you give me... at least a little bit, a simple song. After 20 minutes on the clarinet, I could play the melody of Basket Case (a staple!). Now I need someone to teach me how to play something that's brass... and something percussion.
Or maybe I will just take a nap. I'm so tired, dizzy, and headchey. And I spent 4 hours playing Paper Mario last night, got really far... and there hadn't been save blocks in a while, so guess who died TWICE and saved NOTHING? ARGH!!! (It was the pit of 100 battles thingie, during which you can't save...)
