Back At It
Another dead-boring day at the office punctuated by some sincerely great laughs with J. and others. Believe it or not, three of us sat around and discussed - of all thing - the OJ trial! Felt like old times.
Things seem to be coming together for Cas workwise. Mom's health is stable, thank God.
Gabe's going diving tomorrow which will allow me to monopolize the computer for hours on end. I hope to kill Diablo and get my first dot. My fascination with the game has only increased since I became involved with the Diablo Strategy Forum on the Blizzard web site. So much good advice from advanced players and I'm finally getting gutsy-er and making progress. I am just so unbelievably hooked on this fuckin' video game! Sick, but fun.
I am getting over missing Molly ALL the time. Now I mostly miss her in the morning and when I get home from work. I got the paperwork from Clumber Spaniel Club of America Rescue and Placement and will fill it out and return it. I don't think I want another dog for at least a year.
Meanwhile her ashes are waiting for me to go out and find a container, so she can rest on the bookshelf between Diz & Dewey. Just one of three death shrines I have in this house, one for the dogs, one for Dad and one for Greg.
