MY PET PEEVE!
I just have this one pet peeve that is REALLY getting to me lately. I don't know if anyone feels the same way, but it REALLY BOTHERS ME! When someone says that they are going to do something, do they really mean it, or are they just saying that to make themselves look good? I am not going to say any names, but if those people read this, their concience will just let them know that I am directing it towards them. Actions truely do speak louder than words, and lately some people's actions are not what I expected at all. IF YOU SAY YOU ARE GOING TO DO SOMETHING, DO IT! I know that when I say that I am going to call you, or hang out with you, or be there for you, i truely intend to do that. Why say something and not do it, it's just a waste of time to hear and wait for something that is never going to be done.
It bothers me that some of the people I feel are clos to me do that. I mean come on, how can you really trust someone if they never follow through with what they say? Sometimes, people take their friends and family for granted. I am not saying that I am perfect, but if everyone actually followed throug with what they say, maybe there wouldnt be so many confusing feelings, so many arguments, and so many dissappointments.
I can't say that no one is there for me, because A LOT of people ARE. It just bothers me that the others are nothing but talk.
I respect those that tell me the truth, regardless of how harsh it may be, because there are few people like that. TALK IS CHEAP... ACTIONS ARE PRICELESS!
Now that I got that off my chest, I feel so much better!
