Well not literally spring cleaning. However, I have gotten rid of almost all of the unhealthy eating choices in the house. I know you might be saying, well just throw out the rest of it and be done with it. I know this is probably the best idea, and the one I should do. However, not sure I can do that, especially since by tomorrow it should be gone anyway.
Once that happens I can focus on trying my best to keep those choices away from me by having healthier alternatives around. Then I can make sure to eat enough small meals, and snacks, to make sure that my metabolism speeds back up to where it should be.
On the plus side I am not exactly doing it alone. Val is doing the same thing, and has been. I am proud of her willpower, thus far, especially with extra stresses. Thus maybe we can help each other with those sticky areas when it helps to have someone else there to give you a nudge.
