A bit about the writings you've just stumbled upon...
This journal contains the major part of a fanfiction story I wrote in late 2005/early 2006. It's based in the pre-book-6 Harry Potter universe, and very heavily influenced by the music of the band HIM. It's tragic and beautiful, romantic--and transformative--all at once. Interestingly, I didn't struggle to write this. I didn't have to think about it. This whole thing has been safely in my head from the moment I started writing, as if it were an instant download from the universe to my brain--and then my task was to get it out of my head and into a format where I could share it with others.
This fic is compelling, very lengthy, yet it is not complete--at least, not in the typical way that we expect complete stories to be. Strangely, the act of writing it all down set into motion some very dynamic energies in my personal life. Without realizing it, I wrote my future into existence--or at least, the next chapter of it. Through writing, I literally created a new beginning for myself.
For me, this story turned out to be nothing less than an unconscious work of magick.
I hope you will read it, and immerse yourself in the same sweeping, rushing, dynamic energies that I felt while creating it. I hope you will forgive its flaws and speculate as to its true meaning and purpose--because I think that "part" of the story will be different for everyone.... Enjoy!
