I think I'm going to finish up school with whatever bullshit degree I can get, and then getting an internship at playstation. I still love writing, and love fiction but i suck at it and I can't make money with it unless I'm fortunate enough to get something published AND have it be really popular. I'm always passionate with my writing when videogames are involved. My mom randomly met a Playstation rep at the airport, talked to her about me and internships and testing jobs and got her card. Whether my goal is game journalism or design or something else in the industry, it's becoming pretty clear that's the industry I'm most passionate about it. I love all media; I still love reading, i love great tv shows and movies but the thing is, and if you debate this you're ill-informed or straight up retarded, videogames are taking over all of those. Not this year or next, but soon they'll combine pretty drastically. I dont think move or tv studios are going out of business or anything but with virtual reality technologies on the horizon right now and everything else, a serious merger is inevitable.

whatever that was a rant. But seriously, I need to get in that industry, it's the only thing that really makes sense to me and has plenty of room for writing whether it be scripting, journalism, or just doing something in the industry and keeping a blog ( i can't name a single well known game developer who doesn't have a blog).

I'm one or two semesters from some sort of degree so i might just go for it. I have that long to get enough money to move to pretty much california, new york or somewhere in canada; three places with the biggest concentrations of both playstation headquarters and game developer offices.

Sounds good.
