A Thank You, Pretty Pictures And A Question.
Hi everyone!
Just wanted to say thanks to you all for your hard work.
There are many HIM sites, but I really love what people post on here as I always seem to get the best news, interviews and random pretty art to look at.
Here are just some pictures to share from the show a couple of days ago in Wolverhampton, it was amazing. Even though I have been a fan for about eight years and have seen them every time they bring out a new album I was really impressed with this show. The stage and lighting were really good so the colours were really pretty and you could see the whole band well. The support band weren't that impressive but they were different and experimential, but because there was no singing and the pieces got a bit repetitive and really long near the end some people got a bit bored. I had an annoying guy shouting abuse behind me throughout...I just ended up reading some manga on my phone until HIM came on.
Ville's singing was amazing (although I was lucky enough not to see Ville totally drunk on stage) I did notice that he seemed to have a lot of energy even compared to their Screamworks show, he even nearly bumped into Linde because he was moving around so much.
My two questions for anyone who was there are:
1- What was Ville drinking in that green bottle?
2- Why did Linde hide behind a speaker for a couple of minutes while playing? Even Ville looked concerned.
If anyone who was nearer to the front can answer I will be very grateful.
Sorry for the picture quality, my iphone camera wasn’t as good as my eyes so it looks a bit further away than it was. I had to keep at a safe distance as I had to make sure to be able yo get the last train back, so I couldn't risk being trapped in-between fan girls and boys. I managed to just leave as they finished their last song (before the last official encore song) it sucked to run through the wind and rain.
